I'm in UK, so hoping I can buy in UK.

I see products such as Tensol 12; Tensol 70; Extru-Fix; Evo Bostik 7452 and
other quality adhesives to bond cast or extruded acrylic, but I seem to be
having a hard time finding anything that comes in a 50 or 100 ml bottle or
tin. I think these quality adhesives seems to only come in 500 ml tins.

Is there anything out there similar to Tensol 12, Tensol 70 or Extru-Fix
that's available in smaller quantities. I don't really want to buy anything
more than say 100 ml if I can help it, because much more I think will go to
waste.

I'm trying to stick together a prototype lamp made of acrylic. Thanks.

I've got the impression that "superglues" are not quite the same as the
products I mention. Like not strong enough. I dunno, perhaps all I'm needing
a ubiquitous "superglue" kind of product.

When I sat "lamp" I mean table-lamp. Ends (3mm wide) just butting up against
flat surfaces.

I believe you can weld acrylic. Done properly,
that should be stronger.

I think you may struggle to find acrylic glues in much smaller
quantities. RS do 250ml bottles which is about the smallest I've seen

http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=0144399

Somewhere like the hobby craft dealer Fred Aldous may offer something
smaller. For a prototype you might get away with using water clear epoxy
if you are careful about how you mix it to avoid bubbles.

Don't be tempted to use superglue - it fumes and the fumes will set on
optical surfaces leaving an opaque mist that is hard to polish off.
